Teleclass: Coaching Clients Through Failure

Through the ICF Los Angeles Charter Chapter, Sue Padernacht, MA, PCC, is teaching a teleclass titled "Coaching Clients Through Failure."

From the time we were children, most of us were taught to avoid and abhor failure. That belief system flies in the face that failure is inevitable, and can be amplified even more so in these disruptive COVID-19 times. While popular literature, podcasts, and blogs espouse the platitudes of "celebrating and learning from failure," these provide little guidance. As well as providing little to no tools to navigate very human reactions with the realities of managing through failures.

Learning Objective:
By the end of this session, coaches will be able to use insights about failure and selected ICF competencies to coach clients struggling with failure situations, thoughts, and emotions.
