Description:
An article titled Turnover Is Bad Across Higher Ed. It's Even Worse in Admissions (The Chronicle of Higher Education, April 18, 2023 edition) indicated that Admissions talent acquisition and retention have become increasingly urgent challenges for Admissions management. Further, the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources found that unsustainable levels of Admissions career burnout are partly due to high workload job demands and workplace stressors resulting in the Admissions career revolving door. During this session, Admissions leaders and managers will gain insights into employee burnout – what it is, how it manifests, how to recognize it, and ways to build resiliency to address it. Discussion and interactive exercises will build skills to use in the Admissions workplace to prevent and address employee burnout.
